About The Race

Show your support the help fight breast cancer at the Race 4 Hope 5K, a run and walk benefiting the Hope 4 You Breast Cancer Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established to raise awareness, provide support, offer education and instill hope for those affected by breast cancer in our local area. The Foundation raises funds to help support these initiatives. Make sure to bring your family and friends and let them cheer you on to the finish.
Date & Race Day Schedule:
The race is Saturday, June 14th, 2008. The 5k race/walk begins right at 8:00 a.m. The 1 mile walk will start immediately after the 5k race/walk. Race number pickup is on race day morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. Awards and Presentations will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Course Information:
The course starts and ends at the Northpark Mall. The course will be designed by the MSSU Track and Field Staff. The course will be through Northpark Mall and adjacent neighborhood streets. Individuals participating in the run will line up in front and walkers will line up in the back. For more information visit our Course Information page.
T-Shirts/Trophies:
T-shirts and refreshments will be provided for all registered participants (12-years and older). The race will be timed and awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 12 - 18, 19 - 24, 25 - 35, 36 - 45, 45 & up.
Fees:
The entry fees are as follows: Under 12 - Free (no t-shirt); 12 and up - $25; If you are a breast cancer suvivor then the fee is only $10. 12 and up and survivors receive a FREE commemorative t-shirt with registration.
Race Packets:
Race packets (t-shirts, numbers, and race goodies) can be picked up at North Park Mall on Friday, June 13th from 12-9pm in the JC Penney Court. Registrations will also be accepted at that time.
Notices:
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, please remember that no wheeled conveyances are permitted on the course including bicycles, and roller or inline skates. Strollers are permitted in the 1 mile walk. No pets will be allowed on the course.
