Dan has over 25 years experience in finance, including memberships in BKD's WealthPlan services team,  the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was past president of the Joplin Tri-State Chapter of Institute of Management Accountants and the Southwest Missouri Estate Planning Council.

Dan graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1966 with a B.S. in business and a master's degree in business in 1967. He joined BKD's Joplin office in 1975 and became a partner in 1982. He is a former instructor of accounting and finance at M.S.S.U.
