Bedazzled Team InstructionsThis is a group of individuals who will commit to register to walk or run on race day. Teams are a great way to work together in honoring loved ones who are survivors. Example, a group participated in last year's race called The Positive Side Effects. It was a group of people who united to show their support for their family member and friend Kristi Seibert. Kristi is our Honorary Chair Person for 2010 year's Race 4 HOPE.
- Each team member pays the $25 registration fee.
- The team comes up with a name and/or theme.
- Each team is not required, but encouraged to participate in some sort of team fundraising effort. This is encouraged for competition and team building!
- Each team can choose what kind of fundraising it wants to do. A team fundraising effort could consist of each team member collecting pledges for their run or walk on race day. All pledges would need to be collected prior to race day and turned in no later than race day. A team could also raise money with bake sales, garage sales, raffles, and slave for a day auction, silent auction or any other legal and creative fundraising effort you want to bring forth.
All donations made from fundraising efforts need to be turned in to Race 4 HOPE officials before the start time for the 2011 Race 4 HOPE.
Awards will be given to the top three Think Pink Groupies:
- Most Money Raised
- Most Team Members Participating
- Most Creative in Team Fundraising Efforts
Anyone can organize a Bedazzled Team. You could start a group at your place of employment, your church, your family or any other organization you belong to that would want to participate as a team of five or more.
We encourage the competition and can't wait to see all the teams on race day!
